  Our Director  


 

     Aldridge-Duff founder and director, Diane Duff, is an experienced and highly 

     regarded educator who specializes in assessing and remediating first language

     reading and literacy difficulties, and foundational math challenges. 

 

     Her clients include young children, adolescents, and adults.   She also

     provides assessment and instruction in schools and businesses.  

 

     Diane also delivers informational workshops for parent groups; creates 

     instructional materials for homeschooling parents and private school

     teachers; and provides pedagogical workshops for private school staff.  

 

     Diane is available to clients in both Ottawa and Toronto.  She works exclusively

     in the area of Reading Remediation, and provides the Step One instruction

     of our Reading and Language Remediation programme.

 

              

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

   includes "Foundations of Human Development and Education"

   "Proactive and Cognitive Behavioural Intervention"

   "Language Acquisition and Development" (in progress) 

 

 

  • Creator of foundational and mental math programme for students with math anxiety
  • Training in Orton-Gillingham method of teaching reading
  • Training in Spalding method of teaching reading
  •
